GUIDELINES FOR MOBILE KIDS CUTS

  • Your stylist will set up shop in your home.
  • They will need a highchair for a child under three years old and a suitable workspace with a plug socket.
  • The stylist will be singing songs with numbers and letters during every haircut to create a fantastic and fun experience for your child.
  • An iPad is used during the session for education and positive distraction.
  • We also use the app LittleBabyBum for interaction and entertainment during the session.
  • With access to leading streaming channels, your child’s favourite cartoons, films can also be played.
  • Children are not allowed to hold or touch the iPad; even if using their own. The iPad has to be positioned on a flat surface nearby, well out of reach.
  • Your child’s hair must be prepared, washed, and combed thoroughly prior to the appointment. An additional stylist fee of £10 per 10 minutes will be applied for brushing knotted unprepared hair.
  • The TotsCrops stylist has the flexibility to take payment for extra haircuts for other members of the family on the day, if they have availability to do so.
  • Please understand - your child will only have the capacity to sit for 10, 15, or 20 minutes, depending on their age. At the end of the haircut, if you would like more hair cut off the stylist will take notes and do this the next time.
  • Please fill out the special request form in as much detail as possible.
  • If your child is nervous. Please put this information on the booking form so the stylist can be prepared.
  • The hair style must be agreed upon before the stylist starts.
  • If you would like to take photos and videos with your child, please make sure that the stylist is not in the pictures.

  • Payment for haircuts are made in advance.
  • We do not offer any chemical straightening or colouring work, so if you agree with your stylist to have a procedure that is not advertised, TotsCrops and Mobile Kids Cuts take no responsibility.
  • We are a hair cutting and blow-drying service only.
